Your home's exterior takes a beating in New Brunswick — salt air, driving rain, and the constant freeze-thaw of our winters. A quality exterior paint job isn't just about curb appeal; it's the barrier that protects your biggest investment. At Lasman Painting we serve homeowners across Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview and Irishtown with prep and products chosen specifically for the Maritime climate.
What we paint & stain outside
- Siding — wood, vinyl & stucco
- Trim, fascia & soffits
- Front doors & garage doors
- Porches & railings
- Fences & gates
- Foundations & concrete steps
Whether you want to freshen a faded colour, cover bare wood before it deteriorates, or completely change the look of your home, we'll recommend the right coating for each surface and the exposure it gets.
Prep built for the Maritime climate
Exterior paint only lasts if the surface underneath is ready for it. Our exterior prep is thorough:
- Pressure wash to remove dirt, chalk, salt and mildew
- Scrape and sand loose or peeling paint back to a sound surface
- Prime bare wood and stains so coatings bond and last
- Caulk and seal gaps to keep moisture out
- Protect windows, landscaping and walkways as we work
Skipping these steps is why cheap exterior jobs peel within a season. Doing them properly is why ours hold up.
Timing matters
Exterior painting is weather-dependent. In New Brunswick that means roughly June through September — into early fall when it stays mild — giving us the consistent temperatures, lower humidity and dry stretches paint needs to bond and cure properly. We watch the forecast closely and schedule your project for the right window — never rushing a coat onto a damp or too-cold surface.
Fully insured, owner-led. Ladders, second storeys and pressure equipment mean you want a properly covered painter. Lasman Painting carries $2M liability insurance and is registered with WorkSafe NB — and you deal directly with the owner, who personally quotes and oversees every job.
